Roger Keen - Chair Trustee

 

Roger was born in Cheddar and aged 14 lost his father and grandmother in the 1973 Swiss air crash.  He is hoping to organise a memorial in 2023 to mark the 50th anniversary of the tragedy.  Roger is married to Janet.  Formally a Sedgemoor district councillor, Roger is also a doting grandfather to the grandchildren and his favourite hobby is planning how to spoil them.

Tony Cradock - Trustee

​

Tony moved to Burnham-on-Sea five years ago and helped to start up the Men’s and Ladies’ Sheds projects.  Prior to his retirement, he worked in the building industry, specializing on the exterior work of buildings, together with advising the self-build market on its usage of building materials and designs.

 

His hobbies are golf, snooker and watching skittles.

Janet Keen - Trustee

​

Janet is a Sedgemoor District Councillor for Highbridge and a cabinet member with a portfolio of Communities and Wellbeing.  Janet is married to Roger.  She is blessed with one son, a lovely daughter-in-law and three incredible grandchildren.  Her priority message is that the family is first, second and always.

Andy Brewer - Trustee

​

Andy moved to the area in 2005 after joining a specialist engineering company based in Highbridge. He is a committed Christian and Treasurer/Trustee of a local Church, and now works for Bridgwater & Taunton College training Apprentices for the Nuclear Industry.  He also provides respite care for his nephew who has special needs.

 

Andy was a Town Councillor from 2014 to 2022 and Mayor of Burnham & Highbridge in 2019/2020. He is very supportive of local Health and Wellbeing initiatives, enjoys cycling and has also recently joined the local Rowing Gig Club.

Jane Macpherson

Project Development Manager

Jane brings a wealth of experience to the  Hub from working within the charitable sector participating in voluntary work projects across the UK.

 

Her current role, working within the community, is to support the growth of the Hub. She finds it incredibly rewarding and the opportunity it offers to learn from, and about, the remarkable people who live in the area.

 

In her free time, she enjoys the theatre, cinema and travel.

Dawn Carey - Trustee

​

During my time on the town council I had the privilege of working with The Moorland Hub, I was very impressed with everything they had to offer for our local community. When my time ended at the town council, I was delighted to be given the opportunity to become a Trustee which I accepted without hesitation.
